Jason is a Productivity Improvement Specialist with the Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center which provides high value, affordable solutions to help manufacturing businesses increase profitability. Leveraging his industry experience, Jason coaches, mentors, and advises manufacturing companies across Indiana in productivity and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, TWI, etc).
With a passion and talent for developing people and teams to reach their top level of performance, Jason has extensive experience in andragogy, learning theory, and the use of technology in the training environment. He is a retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer and decorated combat veteran who understands the value of growing and investing in people to enhance organizational performance and teams.
Previously with Subaru, Jason oversaw supplier education, led internal professional development instructional programs, and designed and developed training curriculum to support manufacturing production and vehicle development. Jason has taught as an adjunct faculty member instructing several courses surrounding Change Management, Technology and Innovation, and Organizational Science.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership in Technology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, both from Purdue University. He is also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Management professional. Jason believes the greatest reward in education is that the harder you work, the better you make someone else.
